We were down to the wire, 6 hours prior to patch!  A special thank you goes out to all of the KoHers who slugged it out through the heroics and all of the raids. Your help and determination is what makes KoH such a great guild!

September is over already?

September has been a mellow month as most Knights are resting up for an assault on Northrend.  That being said, we have made some wonderful accomplishments with recent raids on Magtheridon’s lair, we continue to whoop undead butt in Karazhan, and some of our raiders even got a peek at Hex Lord Malacrass. 

With just over a month left before Wrath of the Lich King hits the shelves, our focus has shifted to a more relaxed atmosphere where guildies can have a little fun together , gear up alts, and get that last little bit of rep needed for goodies. 




Housekeeping:
As we near the expansion, we are going to need all sorts of space in the bank.  In order to make room, the officers have voted to sell all of the wonderful blues sitting in the bank to fund a new pool and waterslide for our secret meeting place…er, um, I mean that we voted to give items of use to the wonderful people in KoH.  So if your mains or alts could use anything, ask an officer to get it for you.

BYE-BYE AUGUST,

The month of August was pretty mellow for us KoHers. We were this close to poking at Hex Lord but with vacation for some of our 1337 raiders. We temporarily focused on gearing up in Karazhan for all our new raiders. We did an awesome job with Gruul I must say. Based on the numbers on our last attemp we can pump out some pretty awesome DPS. If you weren't there, you should have been! we had lots of fun. We have about a week left in August and due to Labor Day Weekend we will not be donig 25man content on August 31.

Progression raid leader Nat here will be taking some vacation time. Raid attendance are always low around National holidays. Many people take days off here and there, to go visit families or have family over for some awesome BBQs!

There may be last minute 10man runs and of course the 5mans should you be online


HERE COME SEPTEMBER!

After some nice refreshing time off in Labor Day. we officers would like to make an attempt at having 25man runs every Sunday. Gruul is still a couple of more kills from farm status and we need to start poking at Magtheridon and see how we do with that encounter. So we have Gruul x 2, Mag, SSC for September calendar. If you are planning on attending any of those runs, be sure to look up the raid strategies on those bosses and do a little reasearch so we can focus on doing more attempts instead of too many explanations. I would like to take a minute to thank all the veteran raiders that are taking the time to run new raiders through Karazhan. Also, thank you for gearing up your alts to make runs a bit more dynamic and fun. Your time helping others do not go unnoticed. KoH would not be the great guild it is today without the helpful group of Officers and Knights that self sacrifice and dedicate their little time online to make sure there is always something fun to do.

Dino – Pimp little Affliction Warlock found him out in Dun Morogh trying to reclaim his home city , screaming FOR GNONEMEREGAN!... crazy I tell you. But, don’t be picking a fight with this little guy; his shaman alt will wipe the floor for ya! Look out!

Bohica – Short and stout Hunter from the capital of Ironforge. He aims, he shoots and scores a big laugh! Be sure to get a hold of Bohica in /g chat he will turn your frown upside down! J

Allonsus- Big holy priest-man from Stormwind. Just recently made it out to WoW after a long extended vacation in “The Real World”…wherever that is.

Snowmustang- VRROOM VROOMMM…no, not that kind of mustang. She more the arrow between your eyes mustang…watch it! Dedicated and expert grinder both in dailies and pvp! If you have questions about dailies in the isle, she be the one to ask J

Antipas- Blue and tough! kinda like watching Hulk on a TV with RBG settings set to Blue…haha. Protection Paladin! She will tank SV for you like a CHAMP!

Kether- Of the vertically challenged variety… Affliction Warlock, could be long lost cousin of Dino? Maybe we should ask, you never know. Fantastic dotter and face exploder… code named Tiny Evil…

Progression Report:

Gruul still not cake but twice downed. Let’s keep gearing up for SSC/TK !!! Go Sign up!

Zul’Aman- Still a work in progress. 4 bosses down, still struggling with Dragonhawk and Halazzi, hoping to finish up gearing folks in Karazhan to have an easier time getting to Hex Lord. If you are under geared for ZA be sure to sign up to as many Karazhan runs as you can and save those badges for vendor upgrades.

Magtheridon – Is on the scope for new progression target, only thing delaying us are tanks with the gear level. We are hoping to get 1 or 2 more tanks in the near future, to go and take a look at Mag.
